CAMP INFO 2024:
What is horse camp all about?
At camp, beginners will learn the basics of horseback riding, including mounting, dismounting, steering, and stopping. More experienced riders will have the opportunity to hone their skills and learn more advanced techniques.
Campers will also have the chance to bond with their assigned horses throughout the duration of camp. They will learn how to groom and care for their horse, including brushing, picking hooves, and tacking up. This hands-on experience will deepen their understanding and connection with these beautiful animals.
In addition to horse-related activities, we will also have fun-filled crafts and games that are horse-themed. Campers can create personalized crafts to take home as souvenirs of their time at camp.
Safety is our top priority, and all camp activities will be supervised by experienced and knowledgeable staff. Helmets will be provided for all riders, and strict safety protocols will be followed at all times.
By the end of camp, participants will have gained valuable knowledge about horsemanship, as well as a newfound love and appreciation for these magnificent creatures. Camp is not only a fun-filled adventure, but also a valuable learning experience for all levels of riders. Join us for a day of horse-filled fun that you will remember for a lifetime!

Above Level Training offers a series of different camps:
1-day camp: Our one-day camp offers one semi-private riding lesson divided by skill level. There is also an opportunity for campers to ride bareback for added enjoyment. Camp sizes are limited, allowing for more hands-on time with the horses and fostering a deeper connection with them. Additionally, campers will engage in a craft activity, providing a creative outlet and a keepsake to remember their camp experience. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive and memorable camp experience, focusing on riding, horse interaction, and creative expression.
Camp time differs on the different seasons, so we can try our best to get the perfect temperature out in the barn.
These camps last 4 hours
1-day camps cost $90
3-day camps: These camps offer campers two rides daily – a structured group lesson in the morning and a variety of fun rides in the afternoon. The fun rides include activities such as bareback riding, games on horseback, or an obstacle course. Each day will offer a different riding game to enhance the camper's skills. We ensure that even in multi-day camps, group sizes are limited to provide individual attention and ample hands-on time with our experienced camp leaders. Our goal is to provide a diverse and enjoyable riding experience, with quality instruction and personalized attention for every camper. These multi-day camps also will offer some sort of crafting experience.
Camp is from 9am-1pm each day
3-day camps are $280 - includes camp t-shirt and pizza party
Pop-up minicamp: Our mini camps offer campers personalized semi-private mini lessons, riding once daily in small groups based on skill level. The limited group size ensures tailored instruction and hands-on experiences with the horses, allowing campers to interact and care for them. Alongside riding, campers will learn grooming protocols and participate in horse knowledge games. The camp also fosters camaraderie through games among campers. Through these activities, we aim to provide a comprehensive and rewarding experience that enhances riding skills and develops deeper connections with horses and fellow campers in a fun and educational environment.
Camp time is 9am-12pm
Mini-camps cost $70
